Great spot to buy liquor and related products. It's conveniently located right on 380 and offers a wide variety at great prices, especially if you pay in cash. The store is well stocked and the service was good. The only thing I would suggest improving is the store’s atmosphere—at times there are strong odors that can be a bit unpleasant for some customers. Adding air fresheners could help make the space more comfortable.
No point in ever doing curbside. Anytime I do a curbside order no one ever comes out. And when I go in there are usually at least 3 people hanging out at the front chatting. I always have to go inside despite doing curbside and following the instructions. The Allen location is really good and always answers curbside.
They have a decent selection of beer, wine, spirits, and cigars. The staff was very helpful showing me bottles of bourbon from the case and I picked up a few nice bottles.
Often, I try other Wine & Spirits stores, just because I'm fairly new to Texas and I want to see what different businesses have to offer their patrons. Now there have been some dang on good ones out there, not going to lie! But Spec's, you guys take the cake with the amazing customer service I experience every time I'm in one of your locations. It doesn't matter which location I'm in. The customer service is always top notch. Thank you Spec's, for bringing great smiles and amazing booze to McKinney.
The store itself is good, BUT working for the company SUCKS!! I was recently terminated and according to the Texas Payday Law, sure they issued my paper check within the 6 days according to law, but have NOT released funds until their “normal” payment schedule which should be held liable in a court of law! I have not been able to get any answers about why this is permitted, but it’s WRONG!! I should’ve gotten my funds after a day of depositing my final check and it’s been 4 and counting!
