Great little Specs spot! Lots of great bottles. Store Picks, and a few rare bottles once and a while. Staff was friendly. Cheers!
We purchased alcohol for our wedding from Spec’s and were informed we could return anything not opened or chilled, which is the only reason we went through Spec’s for the order. When we went back with the leftover alcohol to return, they wouldn’t accept the return and said it’s because they’d have to walk back and forth between two cash registers to complete the return. Spec’s charges 5% more for paying with credit cards. The credit card companies don’t charge them 5% for taking credit their cards. Spec’s is milking you for at least 2%. Wiggy’s Liquors, right next door doesn’t charge any more for paying with a credit card and they’re not a big, faceless, corporate chain.
Ordered a 6 pack for pickup on DoorDash and arrived to find the staff was out and cancelled the order. Well, DoorDash didn't get the message that the order was cancelled and so I'm out the money I spent. Specs refuses to look into the issue just telling me to contact DoorDash, and DoorDash support simply tells me Spec's didn't cancel the order. Awful customer service, don't support Spec's if they're not willing to solve the problem.
Bad experience with "Stevo," who claims to be the store manager. I am having a dinner party tonight and ordered several items from Spec's using Uber Eats. When the order arrived, two six-packs of tonic water were missing. I spoke to the delivery guy, and he showed me his phone, which reflected three six-packs, not the one that was delivered.
