People are quick to talk about the employees, but they’re literally all super nice and very helpful!! All the cashiers are so nice and quick to point out where everything is at! Mary was amazing and very friendly!! She was such a sweet heart! Also kennedy will always make me laugh and has a good conversation, always interacting with customers. 10/10 service here, will definitely be coming back!
There is a white female that works there and her name is Dawn, she is a manager. She is a wonderful delight, very knowledgeable about her wines. I was greeted when I walked in and Dawn asked if I needed help (shocked that i was even asked) I said yes very much. Dawn said yes wine can be Intimidating but so much fun, how I can i help? She isn't wrong. She recommended a very good Amarone from Italy, a good full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. And very good one from Greece. This has to be the RUDEST most UNPROFESSIONAL location in DFW! Now I've gone here once before a few months ago. Even then the employees I encountered were less than welcoming and weren't helpful at all. They didn't even greet you. Well I went again today and before I even get inside, I see a male employee, taller guy, just looking at me as I approached the door. Was happy to see this open up since I had good service with another Spec’s. Went in and saw employees today just standing around, gossiping, ghetto trash talking and on their phone. Don’t bother asking for help or even saying Hello. I was ignored and felt like I was bothering them just by my presence in the store! Literally one Hispanic woman cashier was working a line of customers while the rest of these clowns just stood around cracking jokes. I may go back for the selection if I have to.
RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!! I've never been to a spec's where the employees look at you and never say one word. I saw a male employee behaving as if he was on a lunch break standing there speaking to friends but never would help me locate anything. This location should be addressed concerning their absolutely unprofessional behavior or close this store!! The neighborhood seems to be headed down anyway with all these "new" people!!!
