HUGE store with GREAT service! I was extremely impressed because after looking through multiple stores online, I called this location to hold an item I needed for Father’s Day. Christopher was extremely helpful and held my items as promised. When I entered the store to get my items, I was immediately greeted and got the items plus picked up some other needs. Spec's is where to go if you need wine, beer or alcohol. Their employees know their products and are helpful. I have gone in before a dinner party many times and told them what I planned to serve and my price point and they helped me select an excellent wine. No snootiness about lower price points as they have wines at every price point. They give discounts for paying with cash or debit card.
Went in for a meet and greet with Cole Hauser on 9/20 I have been waiting for this day, talking about it to everyone, and was so excited only to find out you had to purchase a $100 bottle to meet him , NOWHERE I MEAN NOWHERE MENTIONED THAT IN THEIR ADVERTISING, The lady was just like it is what it is, I was like well can I try it before I buy and she said they were giving out samples but they ran out , Mind you I had to leave work early just to get there in the timeframe he was supposed to be there, He was supposed to be t... read more
A taste of home. This location has See's Candy Store located inside. We limited ourselves to 2 samples, but I really wanted 2 more. The lollipops have really increased in the price. In fact, mostly everything has increased. I'm just glad to know that I don't have to pay for shipping 😅. I can make a purchase and get a sample. Great experience.
While I don't live in Houston we do get there fairly often and Spec's is always on the list to visit. I typically am hunting for bourbon that I cannot find in my home state and I'm always happy with the selection at this amazing location.
