Newer Spec’s near home, Yorktown and Roddfield. Well stocked with many quality items. Love the staff who will meet you with a friendly greeting. Their prices are much better than any competitor in our area.
I really like this store, and it's close to home, but have to question there ability to give recommendations, I've asked before about liquor brands some of them have no experience with the different types of products they have, but the other day I had asked about a good Bloody Mary mixer and was told that Best Maid was good, I really have to say the worst Bloody Mary mixes I've ever had, has the consistency of tomato paste and ketchup, extremely peppery and acidic, big waste of money, should have stuck with The Zing Zang.
Could this man be anymore rude? I was looking for what register to go to. He never told me which register to go to. He just moved and stopped at one. He asked me "cash or card"? Never said hello, how are you. "Need a bag? Need a receipt? Never said Thank you. I did. Cripes, this is Texas.(brown, scraggly hair, mustache, dark eyes) We are usually always friendly. He must come from Austin. I will never go back. There was one kind employee. He greeted me and asked questions. (Tall, thin. African American)
They carry more varieties than anyone else in the area. Personnel is always curtious and knowledgeable.
I love this store but that ole man in there… woooof he somethin else.
