We just found this Spec's location opened where the old Best Buy store was located in North East Pflugerville and decided to check it out. Good setup like other Spec's locations and a very friendly and helpful staff. This was definitely needed in the area and should be successful given the number of customers we saw there during our visit. We will definitely be patronizing them again.
Tired of Specs being out of the different brands and or size I want. The website shows it to be in stock, but NOPE. Don Julio I want, out.... Crown Royal I want, they only have 1 size. So I spent more for less. I never have this problem at Costco across the street
Pretty decent selection, nothing too eclectic but certainly has everything the average adult or aspiring mixologist needs to make a good drink. All the finer liquors as well. t’s a huge store, neatly organized and not cramped at all. I think they could actually make better use of the space in terms of selection and if that’s not the route they want to go, maybe some sort of interest piece or furniture to fulfill its potential. Whoever is hiring at this location has done a great job. There are some true experts here. Particularly noteworthy was the extraordinarily in-depth, 15-minute lesson on whiskeys from Yao. I walked away with an excellent bottle and will be coming back for more tips. Please give that man a raise.
Spec's is great, love saving 5% cash/debit, especially on more expensive bottles it adds up. This location is fairly new so the selection of whisky could be better, and it is getting there, slowly. (They can always look up whatever you're looking for in their database, brodie and arbor walk seem to have the best selection) Special shout out to Yao the whisky guru! Ha (and other spirits).
