This is your typical Spec's from what I observed. I didn't visit to purchase alcohol or liquor, I went specifically to buy cigars. I will say, out of all the Spec's locations I have visited, the layout and selection was by far the best!!! Nobody assisted me during my visit, but I am a big boy and prefer to not be harassed or hounded by someone that doesn't know much about cigars. We just found this Spec's location opened where the old Best Buy store was located in North East Pflugerville and decided to check it out. Good setup like other Spec's locations and a very friendly and helpful staff. This was definitely needed in the area and should be successful given the number of customers we saw there during our visit. We will definitely be patronizing them again.
I had the worst brain crash while I was shopping for ingredients to the “Cocktails, Mocktails, and Drunken Tales” interactive recipe book, but YAO from 19000 Limestone store in pflugerville helped talk me all the through the process. I had gotten extremely overwhelmed, but he was so patient and insightful!
My go-to. There are other options, but this location employs knowledgeable people to assist me in finding exactly what I'm looking for. Employees are helpful, but not intrusive. Today, I received a phone call from the store manager who said that he found that they accidentally overcharged me and were issuing me a refund. That's integrity, folks. Sometimes I had picked up staples from a liquor store that is closer to me. No more. SPECS now has all my business.
I visited the Pflugerville location today to buy Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey. There was an end cap right by the front door that indicated a sale price. When I went to pay for the size that was on sale the sales price was not given to me. I told the cashier about the sales notification in the store and she went to investigate. She then called the manager in this regard and he then investigated the advertised sale price as well. They appeared to be working hard not to give me the sale price.
